DENVER

Denver is the capital of Colorado. It is one of the most beautiful capital cities of the country. Being close to several ski resorts around Breckinridge in the nearby Rocky Mountains. Denver is referred to as Mile High City because of its one-mile elevation above sea level. You can lead an active lifestyle in Denver because of its proximity to the Rocky Mountains and warm and sunny weather conditions year round. Many residents spend their weekends in the mountains. VAIL

If you are passionate about skiing and love to spend time amid snow clad mountain cliffs, Vail is a perfect place in Colorado to make your second/vacation home. It is considered the gateway to adrenaline-pumping ski terrains and back bowls. Developed as a resort town, Vail has everything to lead a calm and relaxed lifestyle. With a European vibe, alpine-inspired architecture and heated cobblestone streets, your time spent in Vail will be a special experience. In addition to the fun and pure joy of skiing, you can also enjoy a vibrant nightlife. Other attractions of this beautiful resort town include high-end shopping, frequent cultural events and festivals, art galleries, and the stunning natural beauty of the landscape.

If you love to spend time in the outdoors, East Vail is great with its parks, playgrounds, and hiking trails. It houses the famous Vail Racquet Club and contains many condos and single-family homes to choose as your second home or vacation property. If you wish to enjoy pubs and gathering areas, the Vail Village should be considered. Cascade Village is another option. BRECK AREA

Breckenridge is a very popular resort town of Colorado situated at the base of the Tenmile Range of the Rocky Mountains. Famous for its history associated with Gold Rush, this resort town has its own ski resort and provides opportunities to take part in many exciting alpine activities. It is one of the most active towns of Summit County with year-round residents who enjoy mixing with the tourists. A majority of the part-time residents come here to enjoy the summer months in their vacation home of choice. Breckenridge attracts not the only ski and snowboard enthusiasts to its resort, but also the ski resorts in the surrounding areas such as Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Loveland. All these areas have hiking and mountain biking trails. Breckenridge has a wonderful array of shops and restaurants to enjoy, especially on a beautiful sunny afternoon. You will find many historic buildings with log exteriors that add to the beauty and charm of this beautiful resort town. Just outside of Breckinridge is Dillon. This area allows people to experience white water rafting and various water sports including boating. If you like getting off the beaten track, nature lovers like to explore the area containing many colorful wildflowers.

ASPEN SNOWMASS

Aspen, Snowmass, and Glenwood Springs are charming and popular mountain towns in Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. Roaring Fork River passes through a valley containing these towns which are considered one of the top playgrounds of Colorado.

Aspen originally started with the silver rush in the 1870s. In 1950 Aspen became internationally known for hosting the first world skiing international event. Aspen now is considered a sleepy, yet mesmerizing mountain town considered a haven for culture vultures, ski enthusiasts, artists, athletes, thought leaders, celebrities, and all-around outdoor pleasure seekers.
Aspen has a mixture of high-end luxury estates and condos intermixed with single-family homes and since 2015 has some of the highest rental rates in lifestyle-driven markets. This could be a great opportunity to receive a great return on your investment if looking to purchase a second home in the right location. Snowmass Mountain is operated by Aspen Ski Company and the village has less than 2800 full-time residents approximately 20 minutes from Aspen.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS

Glenwood Springs, approximately 150 miles from Denver is a resort town known for its famous for its hot springs and Glenwood Caverns. Glenwood Springs is also considered by Rand McNally as the “Most Fun Town in America.” If you are fond of nature, this town is surrounded by White River National Forest which is abundant with wildlife. This forest contains Hanging Lake famous for its turquoise blue clear water. In addition to the scenic beauty and hot springs, you can also enjoy fine dining and many other recreational activities. Conveniently, Breckenridge is near several ski resorts, so you can easily enjoy skiing only a short drive away.
